Sometimes what is legal is not moral. Big government meddles into areas into which it has no legitimate, Constitutional basis to meddle: marriage, consumption of beverages, compulsory government teachings and the like. When government invents a new law or, all too often, a new right that violates a religious principle - be it Christian or Jewish - how should religious respond? What about secularists, how should they resound?
