Trump a ‘no-show’ on our show

By Daron Casey | June 3, 2016

For the second consecutive day, a visit from Donald Trump was promised (kind of) and then not delivered.

Wednesday on The Armstrong and Getty Show we heard over and over of a visit from the GOP presidential candidate, only to eventually be graced with Trump’s California Campaign Manager Tim Clark. Yet again Thursday, while visiting Sacramento, the home city of The Armstrong and Getty Show, Trump was expected to make a phone call.

Jack Armstrong: “So in theory we have Donald Trump coming up in about 8 to 10 minutes…in theory. Yesterday he was kind of loosey-goosy, we thought maybe he had Trump but, it’s more nailed down today we believe…either we do or we don’t.”

Well Trump bailed on making the call again. Nearing the end of the show the hosts remained optimistic.

Armstrong: “He’s probably running long with whoever he is talking to currently…”

The show concluded with no sign from Donald Trump. Oh well…maybe next time.

Listen to The Armstrong and Getty Show weekdays from 6-9am on AM 770 KTTH.
