Unprecedented Crisis at the Border: A Mexican helicopter crossed the border and shot at U.S. border patrol officers; the government may ship hundreds of immigrant kids to Long Island; immigrants are bringing swine flu over the border; and Nancy Pelosi plans a trip out of Washington.

Obama Calls Suit a Stunt: President Barack Obama is calling Speaker of the House John Boehner’s threatened lawsuit over the president’s executive orders a “stunt.” “What I’ve told Speaker Boehner directly is if you really concerned about me taking too many executive actions, why don’t you try getting something done through Congress?” Obama said on Good Morning America.

Drones Over Baghdad: Armed U.S. drones are flying over Baghdad, CNN is reporting. The drones are there to protect 180 U.S. military advisers. There are also drone reconnaissance flights over Iraq.

Marfan Sufferer Drafted to NBA: In an emotional ceremony the NBA unexpectedly drafted Isaiah Austin, who was recently diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome, a potentially deadly connective tissue disorder that physical activity can worsen. Austin was viewed as a first round pick up until his diagnosis last week. Though he was drafted, he will not play, as the diagnosis effectively ended his career.

Huge Jump in Seattle Rents: The average cost of an apartment in the Seattle area is now more than $1,200, as the price jumped 4.1 percent in the second quarter of 2014. Vacancy rates in King and Snohomish rates are at their lowest level in nine years.
