Hillary says “it doesn’t matter” if Bergdahl deserted

Hillary is No. 4: Though the book doesn’t come out until June 10, Hillary Clinton’s book “Hard Choices” is No. 4 on the Amazon.com best sellers list. Clinton is getting beat by Stephen King’s newest “Mr. Mercedes,” and Maya Angelou’s “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.” And, as you can see in the video above, Hillary is still fond of saying things don’t matter.

Another Tragic Shooting: This time, a married couple in their 20s who may have been white supremacists did it. They killed two Las Vegas police officers and a shopper at a Wal-Mart, and then committed murder-suicide inside the store. Police reportedly found Nazi paraphernalia inside their apartment, and neighbors reported that the couple advocated conspiracy theories and often dressed in camouflage.

Taliban Attacks Pakistan Airport: A group of heavily armed Taliban fighters attacked the largest airport in Pakistan, the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, killing 18. Ten militants died, three of whom detonated suicide bombs. The Taliban said the attack was retaliation for air strikes on the positions along the Afghan border.

Miss USA From Nevada: Nia Sanchez, Miss Nevada and a fourth-degree taekwondo black belt, won the Miss USA pageant Sunday, beating out runner up Miss North Dakota Audra Mari. Sanchez used the Miss USA pageant to talk about how women can learn to use self-defense.

Earn $60 for Blood and Breath Test: Would you give the government your saliva, blood, or take a Breathalyzer test to earn $60? Soon government-hired teams will appear on roadsides to take volunteers’ DNA in an attempt to learn how many people drive impaired.

Maybe Fewer Metro Cuts: After the Prop 1 tax increase failed in April, King County Metro was supposed to cut service by 16 percent, but the King County Council may scale that back. The council would cut a little bit of service by September, but leave the rest for next year, when, they hope, there will be money around so they don’t have to.
