Limbaugh: liberals are late protesting Sharia law

Are liberals just finding out now about the horrors of Sharia law?

Host Rush Limbaugh wants to know where they’ve been all this time. In Hollywood recently, progressive celebrities have banded together to boycott several swank Los Angeles hotels owned by a company whose principle is the Sultan of Brunei.

The Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, is moving forward with plans to institute Sharia law in his home country, which, by 2015, would ban homosexuality – and punish gays with torture or death.

The Sultanate of Brunei is a tiny country that borders Malaysia, and has been ruled by the same family for over 600 years.

At a recent protest in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel, late night impresario Jay Leno even showed up to protest.

“I mean, where have all these people been?” Limbaugh asked. “This is the question. This is what happens with the left. They’re so tribal. They hang together. They only permit their own accredited people and groups, because of political correctness, to say things.

“Just two weeks ago, before these protests started, if anybody on the right had been critical of militant Islam or of jihad or Sharia, you know what happens. I mean, the people get descended on and they’re intimidated when they’re told to shut up and so forth.

“Jay, where have you been?” Limbaugh wondered. “I mean, people have been stoned to death long before they got to the gays and lesbians. Try women. Anyway, they’re late arrivals.”
